App Overview: VibePost AI is a social media content creation assistant that uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to help users generate Instagram-ready captions, hashtags, story graphics, song mood suggestions, and hooks. The App is free to use with advertisements (Google AdMob) and daily generation limits.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you.
A. Personal Data Provided Voluntarily
- Account Information: To use features like custom vibes, saved captions, and history synchronization, you may create an account. We collect your email address and authentication credentials.
- Third-Party Login: If you log in using a third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile information permitted by that provider, such as your name and email address. We use Supabase Auth to manage authentication securely.
- Saved Content: We store content drafts you explicitly choose to save (captions, hooks, tags, vibes) so that they are synchronized across your devices.
B. Media and Reference Photos (Sensitive Permissions)
- Photo Library Access: To use image-aware creator tools (e.g., Image-to-Caption, Post Creator, Story Creator), you may select reference photos from your device's photo library. The App requests read-only access to your photo library for this purpose. We do not access your videos, audio files, or any other media.
- Camera Access: The App may request access to your device's camera so you can take a new photo directly within the App to use as a reference image for AI content generation. Camera access is used only for capturing still photos — the App does not record video or audio.
- Save to Gallery: When you download a generated story graphic, the App requests write access to your photo library to save the image to your device's gallery.
- Transient Visual Analysis: The photo is securely transmitted to our cloud storage via encrypted HTTPS and sent to the Google Gemini API for the sole purpose of analyzing the visual context (composition, colors, objects, mood) to generate relevant social media captions, song recommendations, and tags.
- No Permanent Storage or Training: We do not store your reference photos permanently. Uploaded media assets are temporarily processed and automatically deleted from our cloud storage buckets immediately after the AI generation is completed. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
- No Audio or Music Permissions: The App does not access your music library, microphone, or any audio files on your device. Song and audio recommendations are generated as text-based search suggestions only.
- Content Safety & Prohibited Media: To maintain a safe environment, all user-submitted text prompts and uploaded reference photos are automatically checked against content safety filters. We strictly prohibit the upload or analysis of images containing sexual, explicit, adult, violent, hateful, harassing, or illegal content. Uploads violating these safety guidelines will be automatically blocked, and no content will be generated.
C. Device and Usage Data
- Device Telemetry: We collect information about your mobile device, including your operating system version, device model, and language settings to ensure app performance and compatibility.
- Advertising Identifiers: To support our free services, we display advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android or Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS) and usage statistics to serve, personalize, and measure advertisements.
- Cookies and Local Storage: We or our third-party advertising partners may use cookies, SDKs, or local device storage to manage ad frequency, track impressions, and reward you with bonus tokens for watching video ads.
D. Local Notifications
- Daily Reminders: To help you stay consistent with your content schedule, the App requests permission to send you daily local notifications containing motivational vibes. These notifications are scheduled and processed entirely on your local device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data related to your notification settings or usage to our servers, and you can easily opt-out or disable these notifications at any time in your device's settings.
2. Third-Party Service Providers
To operate our App, we integrate SDKs and APIs from third-party partners. These third parties have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

- AI Generation: To process visual reference photos transiently through Google Gemini APIs.
- Customer Support: To respond to support inquiries, debug crashes, and prevent fraudulent activity.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We value your trust. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or media files to third parties. We only share information with third parties in the following circumstances:
- With Service Providers: As described in Section 2, to facilitate our service (e.g., Supabase for database, Google for Gemini/AdMob).
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Advertising Declaration
This App contains advertisements. We use Google AdMob to display ads in the following formats:
- Rewarded Video Ads: Users may optionally watch video advertisements to earn additional generation credits (tokens). These ads are never shown without user consent — the user must explicitly tap a button to watch a rewarded ad.
- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads may be shown between generations. These are throttled to avoid excessive frequency.
Our AdMob integration is configured to serve non-personalized ads only (requestNonPersonalizedAdsOnly: true). This means we do not use personal data to target advertisements. Ad serving is based on contextual signals only.

- Secure Authentication: User accounts are managed through Supabase Auth, which implements industry-standard authentication protocols including secure password hashing and encrypted session management.
- Minimal Permissions: The App requests only the minimum device permissions necessary for its core functionality — camera and photo library access for image-based AI generation, storage write access for saving generated graphics, and notification permission to send daily reminders. We do not request access to contacts, location, microphone, call logs, SMS, or any other sensitive device data.
- No Hardcoded Secrets: All API keys and service credentials are stored securely on our server infrastructure and are never embedded in the application code distributed to users.
- Temporary File Cleanup: Locally cached image files created during the generation and sharing process are automatically cleaned up when you navigate away from the results screen.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
7. Your Data Rights & Deletion (GDPR / CCPA / Google Play Policy)
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you have certain data protection rights:
- Access, Update, or Delete: You can manage or delete your saved collections directly inside the App.
Account and Data Deletion Instructions:
Google Play policies require us to provide a clear way to delete your account and all associated data. You can delete your account and all stored history at any time by following these steps:
1. Open the App and navigate to Settings.
2. If you are signed in, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly.
3. Alternatively, you can email us at support.vibepostai@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject line "Delete My Account".
4. Upon receiving your request, we will purge your email, authentication records, saved collections, and generation history from our database within 7 business days.
8. Opting Out of Targeted Advertising
You can opt out of personalized advertising on your mobile device through your operating system settings:
- Android: Open "Settings" > "Google" > "Ads" > Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or tap "Reset advertising ID".
- iOS: Open "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Tracking" > Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
9. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:
- Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 7 business days upon account deletion request.
- Generation History: Stored on our servers and associated with your account. You can delete individual entries at any time from within the App, or request complete data deletion.
- Reference Photos: Temporarily processed and automatically deleted immediately after AI generation is completed. We do not retain any copies.
- Device and Ad Data: Managed by Google AdMob according to their own data retention policies.
- Local Device Data: Credits, usage counters, and preferences stored on your device via AsyncStorage can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

11. Target Audience & Age Requirements
VibePost AI is designed for users aged 13 years and older. The App's target audience is social media content creators, influencers, and individuals who wish to generate creative text content for platforms such as Instagram.
We do not direct our App to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support.vibepostai@gmail.com. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers.
Our ad settings are configured to comply with COPPA: we use non-personalized ads only and do not track users under the age of consent.
12. App Access & Login Requirements
VibePost AI can be used without creating an account. Guest users can access all core AI generation tools with daily free limits. However, the following features require a free account (via email or Google Sign-In):
- Saving and syncing custom vibes across devices
- Viewing generation history
- Saving favorite captions and drafts
Account creation is optional and free. No paid subscription is currently required to access any feature of the App.
